Yes, it's October!
We all had a fabulous trip to Chicago! What a great way to celebrate my Mom's 85th Birthday! I was so impressed with The Windy City, The Second City, Heart of America...Chicago! We saw many of the sights from the Art museum (amazing!), Architectural River Cruise (fascinating!), Sears Tower (Can we say "Skywalk" Yikes!), Second City Comedy Club (too funny!), Shedd's Aquarium (a little fishy!), Frank Lloyd Wright's house and studio (totally a must see!) and the list goes on. The view from the Sears Tower was pretty amazing. I got some great pictures. The Sky Walk was a tad scary, especially if you are afraid of heights, but I got through it. I look at the picture of my Mom sitting there on the Sky Walk at 85, and even more amazing is how she stood up after from a sitting position! Me with my bum knee, I was the one who needed a helping hand. As a matter of fact, it was my mom that kept asking me if the pace was too fast and did I need to rest. Oh, to be fit and healthy at 85!

I made my Mom a mini flip accordion album, which is definitely my new favourite album to make! LOVE it! I used the Happy Birthday paper by Simple Stories. My non-crafting sister is in-charge of putting pictures in it! It worked out perfect for the Journal Block with the numbers 1 through 5. We just happen to be there 5 days!

Also, I had scheduled some classes for November which are up on my website. Check them out because the Christmas Fun Package on November 11 and the All-Day Cards on November 12 have limited spaces.
Enjoy October, because the way time flies, November will be here before we know it!
Happy Crafting!

I am loving the 12 weeks of Christmas classes and learning the techniques your're teaching. Thankyou for taking the time to teach these. Also looking forward to the class on Nov.11th--I've already booked it off from work.
